1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Iris Agent platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
2. Account Registration
To access the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete registration information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account credentials, and you accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
3. Usage & Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use the Service or configure your AI agents to:
- Generate or distribute content that is illegal, defamatory, abusive, or sexually explicit.
- Infringe upon the intellectual property, copyright, or privacy rights of any third party.
- Scrape, crawl, or upload content from websites or files without explicit authorization or legal rights to do so.
- Deploy automated chat bots intended to deceive users or impersonate natural human beings for fraudulent purposes.
- Attempt to bypass, disable, or exploit any security mechanisms of the platform or the underlying database.
4. AI Content Disclaimer
Iris utilizes third-party large language models (such as Google Gemini) to generate responses. We do not guarantee the accuracy, truthfulness, or reliability of any output generated by your AI agents. You are solely responsible for reviewing and validating any AI-generated answers before presenting them to end users.
5. Subscriptions, Payments & Billing
Certain aspects of the Service are provided on a paid subscription basis. All billings and checkout operations are handled securely by Stripe. Subscription tiers, tokens, page-crawling limits, and billing terms are specified on our Pricing page. Payments are non-refundable unless required by applicable consumer protection laws.
6. Data Ownership & Intellectual Property
You retain all ownership rights to the documents, text, and assets you upload to train your custom AI agents. Iris does not claim any ownership over your data. By uploading assets, you grant Iris a limited license to store, process, and vectorise your data solely for the purpose of operating your custom agents.
7. Termination & Account Deletion
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account and all associated workspace data at any time from your Account Settings. Upon deletion, all database records and vector indexing tables will be permanently removed.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Iris shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data loss, or system downtime arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
